Does the Ascot have the same oven as the Genesi?
Yes. The Ascot features the same electric combi-steam oven as the Genesi — 15 cooking functions including pizza mode (320°C), Rising for bread proving, steam self-cleaning, a meat probe, ECO and Shabbat mode. The 90 cm and 120 cm models also include the INNVENT dual-fan system for perfectly even heat across every shelf level simultaneously.
What is combi-steam and why does it matter?
The combi-steam oven combines conventional electric cooking with a built-in steam system, so you can roast, bake, grill and steam in one cavity. It produces juicier meat, better bread and retains more nutrients in vegetables compared to a conventional oven. The enamelled interior has a micro-drawn stainless steel base and dishwasher-safe removable side panels.
What hob options are available?
The Ascot is available with a Dual Fuel gas hob, a 5-zone flex induction hob, or a Mixed Hob combining brass gas burners with an electric frytop or barbecue plate. All brass gas burners are 60% more efficient than standard aluminium. The 120 cm is available in 5, 6 and 7-burner all-gas configurations.
What are the four metal trim finishes?
The Ascot is the only Steel range with four premium metal trim finishes — Chrome, Brass, Bronze and Nickel — applied to the knobs, handles and decorative details. These combine with any of the nine body colours for a fully personalised cooker.
What is Shabbat mode?
Shabbat mode allows the oven to cook continuously for 24 hours with the lights off and at minimal energy consumption, in accordance with traditional Shabbat and Jewish holiday observance. It is included as standard on all Ascot range cookers.
Which colours are matched with Le Creuset?
Four Ascot body colours — Amethyst, Sky Blue, White and Sand — are colour-matched with Le Creuset cookware, letting you coordinate your range cooker and cookware collection. All nine standard colours are also available in any RAL Classic colour on request.
